This is a collection of materials I created for a project I am currently working on. I was aiming to create materials that look like they belong in a dreary environment that makes me want to stay inside, I hope that you get that feeling as well! My goal was to create materials that suit themselves to dynamic blending and are useful for one off props and terrain coverage. I am particularly pleased with the results of the leaf generator, as I had a lot of difficulty creating a convincing and natural-looking leaf shape when I attempted something similar back in 2022. Along with creating a more natural look, I was able to create a convincing decay system, so I am able to put the leaves in different states of decomposition. Overall, I am very happy with this small collection of materials, and the things I learned from making them. All of the materials were created and rendered in Substance Designer.
